In July True Brew Barista and Café owners Stephanie Zinser and Rob Zinser Jr. announced that they were retiring. At that time they indicated they would be looking for a buyer of the much loved coffee shop and bar located in Bicentennial Square, downtown Concord. However, yesterday they announced their triumphant return via Facebook. True Brew announced:
We are back! After some serious soul searching and outpouring of support from our community we have decided to reopen. We will be putting retirement on hold for a little longer. Hours and menu will be limited to start but same great coffee! We will be open today at 10am. Can’t wait to see you!
True Brew Barista started in 2008 out of Robert and Stephanie’s home. In 2009 the moved to Bicentennial Square and have since expanded several times. The Concord venue added liquor and beer in 2011 and became a hot spot for local music. The return of True Brew is being celebrated by musicians and coffee lovers alike.
