Concord, NH – Governor Chris Sununu issued Emergency Order #63, an order requiring face coverings for gatherings of 100 or more individuals, as part of the state’s efforts to respond to COVID-19.
The order applies to gatherings of 100 people or more and includes social, spiritual, community, civic, private, leisure, political and recreational activities. This includes sporting events, festivals, fundraisers, and similar events where people are gathered in groups at the same place at the same time. The order does not apply to schools, state and local governments or for profit or not for profit businesses.
“We have Bike Week coming up … we have some other large events coming up this fall,” Sununu said at the press conference where he announced the mandate.
The Division of Public Health and State or Local police will have the authority to enforce this order.
