The towns of Hanover, Durham, Lebanon and Enfield will vote on mask ordinances this week. Portsmouth and Nashua already have mandates for wearing masks in public. The town of Plymouth has also been considering a mask mandate that will rely heavily on the language of the Nashua rule.

The town manager of Durham, Todd Selig, said, “We got a lot of feedback that said, ‘Look, if people aren’t wearing masks downtown, we the residents just aren’t going to shop there anymore, because we’re fearful of our health.’ ”

People in Durham who are found not wearing a mask will be provided one or face fines. NH is the only State in the region that currently does not have a mandate for wearing masks.
