The war between Twitter and Donald Trump has been going on for a long time. Multiple tweets from Trump have been flagged by the social media giant. On Sunday morning, another tweet from Trump was flagged as misleading for spreading fake information.

Sunday morning Donald Trump took to the twitter to release another attack on mail-in ballots saying that ‘Election ballot drop boxes are not properly sanitized’ and so can lead to the spread of COVID-19. The President wrote, “So now the Democrats are using Mail Drop Boxes, which are a voter security disaster. Among other things, they make it possible for a person to vote multiple times. Also, who controls them, are the places I Republican or Democrat areas? They are not COVID sanitized. A big fraud!”

The tweet was flagged by Twitter by afternoon because it violates Twitter standards on ‘civic and election integrity’. However, the social media account does not permanently remove it. A public interest notice was placed on the tweet which was available for quoting, but could not be liked, replied or retweeted.

This is one of the many tweets of Donald Trump that were flagged with such notices. In May, another tweet from Trump was flagged for glorifying violence as it said, “When the looting starts, the shooting starts.” Then in June, a tweet by American President was flagged for abusive behavior.
Trump has been repeatedly attacking mail-in ballots as he believes that it will provide Democrats with considerable leverage over him. The tweet comes after Democrats promoting drop boxes as an option for the voters who do not trust US Postal Services with their ballots.
