Hello Everyone!

Instead of announcing new shows this week, I would like to share with you our plans for the coming months. You may have heard, the Governor announced that most restrictions are being lifted on Friday, May 7. There will be a Universal Guidance document with recommendations, but businesses will be free to choose their own path to reopening and setting policies for patrons to follow.

The Capitol Center for the Arts and our two venues the Chubb Theatre and Bank of NH Stage will have specific guidelines in place to transition our venues back to full capacity. We anticipate that beginning August 1 all of our indoor shows will be at full capacity. We have received a lot of positive feedback on our policies during the pandemic and want to assure you that we will continue to keep the safety of our patrons, staff, volunteers, and touring artists at the forefront as we adjust our policies.

In May, we typically announce the upcoming season of shows. We are working to make that happen before the end of the month. You may have noticed, in the past few weeks we have put two new shows on sale – John Hiatt & The Jerry Douglas Band and Alton Brown Live: Beyond the Eats. If our sales this past week are any indication, it looks like many of you are ready to attend some shows!

We are looking forward to a having everyone back. See you soon at a show!
